“Detroit: Become Human” is a: make choices that affect the story adventure game for the PS4. It was developed by: Quantic Dream , published by: Sony Interactive Entertainment , directed by: David Cage , and was released in May 2018.
A few years ago I played “Life is Strange” and right away fell in love with this indie feeling adventure style of game. The story drew you in and you easily fell into the role of the characters all the while enjoying the amazing sound track and settings. The moment I finished “Life is Strange” I wanted another game in this style right away. Fast forward a year or so and while doing a regrettable mud run 5k one of my friends started telling me about this game that was about to come out.
He started telling me about this game that was choice based and there were countless endings and consequences with a bad ass Sci-fi theme involving Androids. Just listening to him I knew I was absolutely wanting to play this game. When the game came out he played through it and then let me borrow it with the stipulation that my first play through he can join on share play and watch me go through. Two of his brothers had played it at this point too and between the three of them the possibility of outcomes was truly impressive. Everyone had different scenes, story details and more, making the replay value high.
From my first play session my first impression was that this game was beautiful. Beautiful settings and aesthetic all around with a dystopian feel at the same time. Interesting music, characters and oh so many choices.
The game follows three androids that each have a unique life and story set at the same time. You play through switching between the three androids in chapters, as the chapters progress there starts to be more overlapping aspects as the stories converge. You can walk around calmly at times and explore while other times you have to make quick choices and button presses for quick time events. There were times I felt relaxed and times where I was sure I was on the verge of a heart attack.
As I played through my friend was shocked by how different my play through was compared to his. He made friends where I made enemies, I went places that he did not and various other differences that made watching it like a new interesting movie. The game had a good flow, and took around 10 hours for a full play through. There is a large replay value to see different outcomes for sure. I would absolutely recommend this game to anyone who likes this style or wants to try something new.

Oh WOW *inhales* what a phenomenon Pokemon GO is. As someone who has collected and been all over Pokemon for the past 20 years, I am so happy to see so many people taking part in this game. Driving through my little town on a Sunday night and seeing groups and groups of people walking around the park socializing is simply amazing.
My husband and I downloaded GO after checking every 5 mins for an entire day to see when it was available in our area. We got it up and running and started playing right away. Sadly the morning after we got it, the servers were having a few issues which is understandable considering the amount of traffic and bugs to work out for a new game . I was not able to log in for two days but stayed patient, it helped that I was in a hospital helping my best friend have a baby to take my mind from it ha ha ha.
On Saturday morning it was working and by then my friend was actually having the baby and let me tell you it helped a lot while I was nervously pacing around after some complications. When I got home my Husband and I went out into town to make a circut of Pokemon stops and gyms and it is just so cool to be seeing all this Pokemon stuff in the real world. Ive been wanting something like this for years and years and im not dissapointed. It is fun, addictive and a great social experiment it seems.
I will be writing more on this topic soon with some videos to come as well. Tell me what do you think of this game? Also what is your favorite Pokemon? Let me know in the comments!
Divinity is a one-player/multiplayer fantasy role play video game that is very reminiscent of Dungeons and Dragons to my Husband and I. This game is jam packed with content, we played 30 hours in the first town making sure we didn’t miss anything at all in that map. The game play is really good for co-op in my opinion because you are able to lock your screen into a split screen and both people can go off and do whatever and not be held down by the other player.
There is so much content from talking with lots of NPC’s, getting quests, making things to sell, fights and exploring the maps. The fighting system is turn based and goes by initiative similar to the D&D system. There is a fighting style for everyone, if you like magic casting, long range bow shooting, sneaky close range dagger slicing, or tank two handed sword/axe bashing.
This game was partially funded by Kick starter and has become critically alclaimed with a sequel now in the works! I think this game is great for couples to play together or just by yourself. This is a team work building game with so much fun fantasy aspects that draw you in to the story.

I have recently come into possession of this game, and I must say, Oh good lord what the hell is this.
This Otome style dating simulation game centers around, if you couldn’t tell from the picture, yes, birds. You are a human girl in a school of all birds who are intelligent and seem to be the ruling race in this alternate world. You get to know all the different birds and build relationships with which every birdie you choose. Each character is unique and has their own story and quirks. At first it just seems that this game is like a normal dating sim, simple and fluff. However, there are odd little details here and there that point to something sinister and questionable.
You quickly get the feeling that there is more to this world you live in and begin to be flooded with questions. Why are the birds intelligent? Why do you live in a cave in the game? What the hell is up with the doctor?! There have been so many moments where I vocally shouted “WHAT?! I DON’T UNDERSTAND!” then proceeded to sit there and re-evaluate my life choices.
I won’t give you all the details of the game to leave some mystery. Plus I don’t think anyone can accurately convey the feel and oddity of this game.
Have you been so lucky or bored to play this game? What did you think about it? Which bird did you go after? Let me know about it in the comments!
My family and I have gone throughout several Minecraft obsessed periods where we would sit down and pretty much continuously play Minecraft for weeks at a time. Since we’ve been waiting for an update for what seems like forever, we have been looking at a few different games to all play as a family. A few months ago one of the Xbox gold games we got for free was Terraria. My husband, daughter and I started playing and quickly began to enjoy all the possibilities available in the game. The only thing we didn’t much like was the split screen and how small everything was on there. I had to sit close to the screen to see. We found out shortly after we started that the PC version had a lot more things and exclusives, so we slacked off building on the Xbox version until we were able to get in on PC.
Once summer began and all the sales started going crazy we quickly snatched up a bundle of 4 Terraria games so that we would each be able to play on our laptops and desktop. I found it easier to play on the PC, and we quickly began to build up our village and explore much quicker than before. We like the wide variety of items you can craft and things you can harvest and collect. It’s cool to welcome all the villagers and find people here and there throughout the world. The boss fights are exciting and crazy, and you always get some great loot.
It is an addicting game, and it is super fun to play with family and friends. Check it out and let me know what you think of it! Have you been playing it already? What are some of your favorite things about the game? Tell me about it in the comments!
So a week or so ago I started live streaming on TWITCH for the first time and opened up with playing the popular horror game “Five Nights at Freddy’s”. It was my first time playing it, and I had fun though it was a little paranoia causing ha ha. Check out the videos for the highlights of the live stream!

So I got this game recently and LOVE it! The Hoenn region has been one of my favorites since the third generation games Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald came out when I was 11 years old. I had every one of them and played way too much through each one. When I first heard that they were remaking the game and adding lots of new features that are available in X and Y and even some that were debuting in the game, I was so excited. It could not come out soon enough, and once it did, I snatched it up once I was able.
I had got it for a long (13hrs) trip and was going to save it for when I set out, however…I just had to play a little of it the night before and needless to say played for around 4 hours into the night. I love seeing the new look of everything and thinking back to how the games used to look. >_< The story is very similar to the original games but many things have been changed and worked upon to make it a new game and story. I like most if not all of the new features such as the Pokémon Amie and the Pokémon Training games are both fun and it makes you feel closer with your Pokémon :D.
I get such a kick out of the every once in awhile first person view and the feature f being able to see wild Pokémon in the grass and water. It makes it a very fun game for those who like the Pokémon genre. If you are worrying about the game being too much like the originals and don’t want to play the exact same game, Don’t! It really does seem a lot of the time it is it’s own game and there is lots to explore and do. Check it out and tell me what you think!
What is your favorite Pokémon? What is your favorite game so far? Let me know in the comments! :3 (Mine is Blazikin and Emerald is the game I’ve had the most fun and collection on)
So I have played the Her Interactive Nancy Drew computer games for about 15 years now, and they just get better. As a kid, I would play them with my mother, and we very much enjoyed solving mysteries and getting a jump scare here and there laughing (after a scream). My daughter has enjoyed mystery novels Nancy Drew being amongst her favorite series, so I started playing the games with her and even as an adult they are so interesting and fun.
There are about 33 games out for PC/Mac/GBA/DS each one is a fun and exciting mystery that you solve as Nancy Drew. You meet several people and find clues around every corner getting closer to your goal. Something I like in the games is you also learn a lot, like puzzle solving and lots of history and sometimes tech facts. From the games as a kid I learned Morse Code, things about Marie Antoinette, the Aztecs, Whales, and much more. I’ve traveled to several creepy castles, haunted houses, Italy, Japan, Ireland and many other places. You learn the history, myths and mysteries surrounding the place you find yourself staying which assists you in whichever case you are trying to solve. There is danger around every corner and behind every secret door, don’t make fatal errors or you may find yourself trapped forever, killed by falling objects or dangerous contraptions, or even a merry-go-round.
Try out the games if you like Mysteries!
Have you ever played any of these games? Do you have a favorite? Know any other mystery games that are fun? Let me know in the comments!
Yet another ninja based otome game from NTTsolemare, it can be bought as a paid version or downloaded as a free version in app stores.
The setting for this game is feudal Japan and you have just been informed that you are the ninja princess. The ninja clans are fighting back against the famous Nobunaga and need you to be the thing that ties the clans together. You find yourself in all sorts of dangerous situations and must pick a protector out of 9 different men. They include ninja, samurai, a doctor and your enemy. Which love will you pick?
I have played through every story except for 2 being: Hanzo the Iga ninja leader, and Rennoshin a doctor. Out of all the stories my favorite ones have been: Munemori the arrogant swordsman and heir to a famous family, and oddly enough Nobunaga the man who wants the world and is the enemy of ninja.
Like with the others each story is different and your reactions change how things can happen. This was a fun one and one of the first games from the “Shall we date” series I played.
Who has been your favorite out of the characters in the game? Let me know in the comments! :3
