The Pokemon World Championships happened this last August 24th-26th in Nashville, TN and I was able to go for the first time ever since it was so close. I remember seeing all the posts on social media of the championships in Anaheim, CA in 2017 and thought it looked like such a fun experience. When they announced that this years was less than 2 hours away we knew we had to go.
Entry for the spectator badges was $10 for which you got entry lanyards and 3 booster packs of the latest sets. We found the venue easily and set out to explore. While we walked around everyone was playing Pokemon GO on their phones, there were so many stops and everything was lured the entire weekend. There were also special Pokemon available in that area while the championship was going on for Pokemon GO and the 3DS games.
The Worlds Championship had two main areas: The Pokemon Center and the Tournament room. The Pokemon Center was filled with exclusive official items that had the Nashville designs, as well as many items that can be found on the online store. It was really cool to be able to see several things in person that I had already been wanting to buy online.
The Tournament room was held in a huge conference room and was filled with tables and chairs sectioned off for each individual tournament. There was TCG (trading card game) championships, VG (video game) Ultra Sun and Moon championships, Pok’ken tournaments and several side events for spectators to take part in. There was areas dedicated to: trading, “Let’s Go Pikachu and Evee” demo playing, coloring stations, roblox building, arcade area and a small food and drink area.
We walked around to look at everything and to watch different matches. It was really cool to see players from all over the world playing this one game that brought thousands of people together. While we were there we were interviewed by the “Let’s Go Pikachu/Evee” PR team and got to play the demo using the PokeBall controller and we all enjoyed it quite a bit. It was cool watching others watch matches, people were really into it and when they would break out into gasps or applause it was exciting.
It was a fun experience for all of us on the whole. We were glad to be able to go and see how it went and are thinking more about trying to qualify to play in a future championship. Next years Championship has been announced to be taking place in Washington DC.

- Horizon Zero Dawn
- Rise of the Tomb Raider
- Pokemon Moon
Games I am planning to stream:
- Life is Strange
- The vanishing of Ethan Carter
- What remains of Edith Finch

I am also going to be doing a lot of crafting soon and may do tutorials for various things. I am planning on opening a little shop in the near future and also have a few awesome travel videos and tips and trick videos/articles that I will be working on very soon.
Is there anything you think I should check out or do? Let me know in the comments!
On my first full day in Korea my friends and I went to Lotte World located at: 240 Olympic-ro, Jamsil 3(sam)-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It is a partially inside and outside amusement park that has some cute similarities to the Disney Parks in the U.S..
We went on October 7th, 2016 and I was very surprised to see so much Halloween decor everywhere. I knew Halloween was not celebrated as much outside of the U.S. but Lotte World brought out all the stops when decorating for Halloween. There were pumpkins and witches galore and everything had a bit of a cute touch to it!
Our Tickets for the day which are normally about $50 we got for about $23 using a coupon on our phones. I was so amazed that we could get tickets for so cheap!
On the inside of the park is a large ice skating rink and several floors filled with rides, games, stores and lots of food places and kiosks filled with lots of things. There was a little monorail that went above the park and several rides like: a pirate ship, a Sinbad ride that reminded me of Pirates of the Caribbean, A full loop ride, several kids rides and so much more.
You can exit the inside to head to the other half of the park where there are many more rides and a cute little castle. At the time I went, they were having a zombie island attraction and many little horror themed areas. If you go to Lotte World you want to download the park app on your phone and you can get early passes for the rides. You have a few passes for your visit and you have to be quick to get the times you want for the more popular rides.
There was so much different food in the park: Hot Dogs, Jajang myeon, Chicken, Kebabs, Pizza, Ice Cream, Cookies, Hamburgers, Udon and Tankatsu plus so much more! I was surprised to see such an array of things from all over the world. I was also glad to see that the prices were not crazy and very affordable compared to an American park where they gauge the price of food like crazy.
While we were there we got to see the special Halloween Parade which was so fun to watch. There was so many floats, dancers and lots of cool costumes. I videoed the entire thing and will be posting it on my youtube shortly.
I had a fun day at Lotte World and would defiantly go back in a heart beat. Have you ever been or want to go? Let me know what your favorite part was or what you look forward to the most?

Divinity is a one-player/multiplayer fantasy role play video game that is very reminiscent of Dungeons and Dragons to my Husband and I. This game is jam packed with content, we played 30 hours in the first town making sure we didn’t miss anything at all in that map. The game play is really good for co-op in my opinion because you are able to lock your screen into a split screen and both people can go off and do whatever and not be held down by the other player.
There is so much content from talking with lots of NPC’s, getting quests, making things to sell, fights and exploring the maps. The fighting system is turn based and goes by initiative similar to the D&D system. There is a fighting style for everyone, if you like magic casting, long range bow shooting, sneaky close range dagger slicing, or tank two handed sword/axe bashing.
This game was partially funded by Kick starter and has become critically alclaimed with a sequel now in the works! I think this game is great for couples to play together or just by yourself. This is a team work building game with so much fun fantasy aspects that draw you in to the story.

My family and I have gone throughout several Minecraft obsessed periods where we would sit down and pretty much continuously play Minecraft for weeks at a time. Since we’ve been waiting for an update for what seems like forever, we have been looking at a few different games to all play as a family. A few months ago one of the Xbox gold games we got for free was Terraria. My husband, daughter and I started playing and quickly began to enjoy all the possibilities available in the game. The only thing we didn’t much like was the split screen and how small everything was on there. I had to sit close to the screen to see. We found out shortly after we started that the PC version had a lot more things and exclusives, so we slacked off building on the Xbox version until we were able to get in on PC.
Once summer began and all the sales started going crazy we quickly snatched up a bundle of 4 Terraria games so that we would each be able to play on our laptops and desktop. I found it easier to play on the PC, and we quickly began to build up our village and explore much quicker than before. We like the wide variety of items you can craft and things you can harvest and collect. It’s cool to welcome all the villagers and find people here and there throughout the world. The boss fights are exciting and crazy, and you always get some great loot.
It is an addicting game, and it is super fun to play with family and friends. Check it out and let me know what you think of it! Have you been playing it already? What are some of your favorite things about the game? Tell me about it in the comments!
So a week or so ago I started live streaming on TWITCH for the first time and opened up with playing the popular horror game “Five Nights at Freddy’s”. It was my first time playing it, and I had fun though it was a little paranoia causing ha ha. Check out the videos for the highlights of the live stream!
Have you played this game? What was the first scare like for you? Tell me about it in the comments!
Alas summer is finally here, and so there is more time to partake in various dorky activities more often. Let the season of Anime, Dramas, and Video games commence! There is so many series that are on my radar to watch and games to play, where to start! A bright spot this week is the fact that the Steam Summer Sale has begun starting today. *Listens to money slipping away out of wallet* It is exciting for many reasons, one of which is I just started a TWITCH channel and have been wanting to stream several games and if I can get them for next to nothing then fantastic.
I am going to try and get at least one post up every day, more if I am able. I’ve been going through all the anime I have watched before, and the list is quite impressive for sure, so between those and the ones I am currently watching there will be no running out of content surely. There are multiple Korean Dramas that have caught my eye as well; I wish I could watch them all non-stop but alas, because I am somewhat human I require sustenance and sleep to survive. >_<
What are some of the things you are watching this summer? Any fun games you suggest? Let me know about them in the comments! :3
So I got this game recently and LOVE it! The Hoenn region has been one of my favorites since the third generation games Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald came out when I was 11 years old. I had every one of them and played way too much through each one. When I first heard that they were remaking the game and adding lots of new features that are available in X and Y and even some that were debuting in the game, I was so excited. It could not come out soon enough, and once it did, I snatched it up once I was able.
I had got it for a long (13hrs) trip and was going to save it for when I set out, however…I just had to play a little of it the night before and needless to say played for around 4 hours into the night. I love seeing the new look of everything and thinking back to how the games used to look. >_< The story is very similar to the original games but many things have been changed and worked upon to make it a new game and story. I like most if not all of the new features such as the Pokémon Amie and the Pokémon Training games are both fun and it makes you feel closer with your Pokémon :D.
I get such a kick out of the every once in awhile first person view and the feature f being able to see wild Pokémon in the grass and water. It makes it a very fun game for those who like the Pokémon genre. If you are worrying about the game being too much like the originals and don’t want to play the exact same game, Don’t! It really does seem a lot of the time it is it’s own game and there is lots to explore and do. Check it out and tell me what you think!
What is your favorite Pokémon? What is your favorite game so far? Let me know in the comments! :3 (Mine is Blazikin and Emerald is the game I’ve had the most fun and collection on)
So I have played the Her Interactive Nancy Drew computer games for about 15 years now, and they just get better. As a kid, I would play them with my mother, and we very much enjoyed solving mysteries and getting a jump scare here and there laughing (after a scream). My daughter has enjoyed mystery novels Nancy Drew being amongst her favorite series, so I started playing the games with her and even as an adult they are so interesting and fun.
There are about 33 games out for PC/Mac/GBA/DS each one is a fun and exciting mystery that you solve as Nancy Drew. You meet several people and find clues around every corner getting closer to your goal. Something I like in the games is you also learn a lot, like puzzle solving and lots of history and sometimes tech facts. From the games as a kid I learned Morse Code, things about Marie Antoinette, the Aztecs, Whales, and much more. I’ve traveled to several creepy castles, haunted houses, Italy, Japan, Ireland and many other places. You learn the history, myths and mysteries surrounding the place you find yourself staying which assists you in whichever case you are trying to solve. There is danger around every corner and behind every secret door, don’t make fatal errors or you may find yourself trapped forever, killed by falling objects or dangerous contraptions, or even a merry-go-round.
Try out the games if you like Mysteries!
Have you ever played any of these games? Do you have a favorite? Know any other mystery games that are fun? Let me know in the comments!
